BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
CAREER AS A
PLASTIC SURGEON
Dr Frank completed his residency in plastic surgery at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town before pursuing advanced fellowships in craniofacial surgery and cosmetic surgery in Paris and Dallas.
He has also worked in renowned centers of excellence, including a leading craniosynostosis treatment center in Munich.
Upon his return to South Africa, Dr Frank served as Professor and Chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Stellenbosch and Tygerberg Hospital.
During this time, he developed innovative techniques for treating children with craniofacial deformities. He established the division of plastic surgery into a centre of excellence for breast reconstruction and microsurgery.
